Our Adventurers wake up in the beautiful druid shrine. The blood of the werewolf the only thing to mar the serenity.

Session 3 will be held Sunday 17th May 2020 1200

Here are the friends and enemies from session 3

Baron Grath Tenos:
A young baron, actually younger than Brem Morton, but he has actually proven his ability several times. Cocky but also knows when to use restraint.

Captain Liuw Hao:
The head of Zico's military was born to the Rat clan in the Gintoo Shogunate, his parents brought him to Zico as a small child. Through a stroke of luck befriended Grath, and the two played together. Has an excellent grasp of tactics despite his young age.

Mairel Starsk:
Chief advisor to Grath. She is an older woman, who has vast knowledge of nobles and vassals throughout the various human kingdoms, elves and dwarves. Only adheres to state rules and formalities when required.

In the aftermath of this session, We were in the cave, settling down to rest, and making a campfire.
When kildrake and squall we’re collecting wood, I harvested a large piece of cloth from on of the goblins, I returned to the cave and placed a small piece of bread under it, and let Pumpkin try to find the bread under the dark of the cloth.

After a greatly successful training session. Pumpkin is starting to figure out a new command, “find food”, because somehow she found food under all that goblin stink!

The day starts with Salazar telling the party that he has studied and understood the Magic Box they had found. Thr box allows them to pull out an item of their choosing. Following this, Salazar is unsure what will happen to the box. Putting their hands in, they each pulled out the following items:

(Khalen) Salazar circlet of Spell Storing
(Shamus) Trym Rapier of Damage
(Enzi) Kildrake Glaive of Lightning
(Sean) Gauntlets of Healing
(Ashton) Zorron Necklace of Disguise
(Romey) Squall – Axe of cold

Standing in the Druid Grove, the spellcasters could literally feel that the Magic is retracting due to the Druid dying. This was troubling to Ereborn, who discussed with Salazar that they should tell the authorities when they returned to Zico, to restore such protection the Druid would have provided for this area.

On the path back, they see a scavenger gnome named Grapip shaking on the road as a half orc approached, striding quickly, axe in hand. Fearing the worst, Kildrake and Ereborn ran to protect the gnome as the half orc threw the axe, killing a previously unseen goblin. So it seemed she was a friend…. She introduced herself as Squall who walks, Squall was brought here by a storm, to which Ereborn thinks is an omen to be followed and she was destined to join the party.

The magic box moved urgently by itself towards Squall and it seemed the box wanted her to take an item and an axe (additional cold Dam) was pulled out. Following this, the box then ran away into the undergrowth at lightning speed.

Doran HoneyWhisky meets us to the town gate and takes us to the Barons keep. Soldiers are milling around, gambling. A massive warrior with a wooden sword steps into an arena ring to battle the captain Liu Hao, head of Zico’s military, who effortlessly wins. Ereborn and Kildarake put their names down for a future fight.

Moving into the Barons keep, Grath Terios emerges. With Lady Muriel stask chief adviser. Ereborn advised of the Druid befalling to a werewolf and that it had been dispatched by fire and lightning. Marie detailed that the Druid (Terence the great) protected the glen for many years, and it is indeed of great concern he is no longer there.

The party were led to the war chamber to discuss with the baron the further troubles. The druids glen protect a village of rock gnomes who do work for him. An unseen town, protected by illusisons. The Baron quietly Deals with a gnome in village of elfesdell, to get around “ expensive Union Town Gnomes costs”. The party understand that their protection is a matter of discreteness.

Doran HoneyWhisky asks about the box and the party relays to him that they each took an item from the box, which promptly rn away. Doran was most upset, stating that the items taken were payment enough for the quest. Erebon laid his hand upon his Warhammer, stating that wasn’t the deal, to which Doran threw him a purse containing 30 gold (5gp for each member).

The party agrees to protect the village at a bounty of 15gp/week and Kildrake can challenge captain Liu for an arena fight. After sleeping in the keep, the party sets of into the path, and walks though an overgrown path that was illusion protecting the village.

Directed to the Smith they meet the astonished gnome villagers before Shapiro takes them to Ronbar. Ronbar details the problems with goblins. He directs the party to Nimus the gnomish mage. She gave the party a map of a chamber she obtained from a captured goblin. The party set off and entered a clearing, and the battel is joined!

5 goblins run out but Zorron sends them to sleep. Sqwall hits one with a boomerang. Kildrake breathes on 4 of the sleeping goblins, waking them up who counterattacks hitting the Dragonborn. Ereborn was speared and bloodiedd, as more goblins with bows appeared. Then, an until unknown goblin Wizard tried to entangle Trym as he appeared from obviously being invisible. Salazar hits the mage with a scorching Ray and Ereborn smithed a goblin with Destructive Wrath.

Trym was grasped by the Wizard in a shocking grasp and Zorron tried unsuccessfully to hold the wizard but Salazar hit well with 3 magic missiles. The wizard cast a failed summoning spell, the resulting python killing him. The last goblin when questioned (being intimidated by Kildrake and Squall) revealed they were an advanced party for an invasion force, and pointed towards a keep they are holed up in. The wizard also had a second piece of the map and a wooden puzzle.

The party gathered their thoughts, sitting to reflect and study their next move…..
